Support Services

First Consultation Free

In our consultation we will discuss briefly what brings you to therapy, what goals you would like to have, and to discuss the process moving forward if you chose to start therapy with me. I will also answer any questions that you may have about me and my practice. Finding a good therapist is about finding someone you connect with and feel comfortable. The first session is always an awkward one as we are in the beginning stages of getting to know each other. It is also where I ask you some background questions to get to know you a bit more so it may feel uncomfortable at first. Allow time for the process, it will get better!

Individual

Virtual individual therapy offers a confidential space where a person can use this time to explore and reflect on one’s own life experiences. The goal of this time is to provide a safe and non-judgmental space to address your mental health needs. I help guide folx every step of the way and implement various methods to help them develop strategies and attitudes to overcome obstacles.

Common issues that bring folx to therapy are:

Couples

Virtual couples therapy offers a safe space where partners can come together to work on concerns like trust, communication, intimacy, and emotions. The goal of couple’s therapy is for both of you to work together to find a common ground of understanding, growth, and compassion for one another. Couples therapy can be useful for many couples, no matter how long you have been together.

Good Faith Estimate Notice

If you do not have insurance or are not using your insurance to pay for your services (you are paying out-of-pocket), you have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.

Under the law, health care providers must give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using their insurance (paying out-of-pocket for services) an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.

You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
